Samantha and Tyler

Wow, I can't say enough wonderful things about this couple. Sometimes you meet a couple and it's instantly obvious that they fit together perfectly. This is Sam and Tyler. They've been together for eight years...and so it was only appropriate to photograph them where they met...btown (bloomington). We are ecstatic about capturing their big day next month in Hilton Head. You guys are amazing....

Allison and Nick

Brrrr........there was nothing sneaky about winter this year. Goodbye cozy fall and hello freezing winter! Every year this time I forget how hard it is to change the F stop or aperature with numb fingers. And let me just say, Allison and Nick were the real hero's of this shoot, seeing how somehow they totally rocked it out without even wearing any coats!!! What a fun couple...they had me in stitches left and right. They claimed to be really awkward in photos, but when I look at these images of them all I see is how much they love each other! They truly love to have fun together, but also have such a genuine chemistry. Stayed tuned for their wedding.....it's only 12 days away!!!

Allison and Obi

While in Minnesota for vacation last summer, we got an inquiry from a couple in Ohio about shooting their wedding. I was in vacation mode to the max, and was trying extremely hard to take a break from anything work-related...GASP! In the last couple of years, I've discovered that I'm not the best multi-tasker. Thank goodness I have a husband who is, or else we might have missed out on the opportunity to meet this amazing couple. Nate had a great feeling about these guys, and he was absolutely right!!

We really had a wonderful time getting to know these guys, and discovering how unique and beautiful their love for each other is. They were quite the troopers despite the chilly air...but thank goodness for steam vents-haha! Thank you guys for hanging out with us for the afternoon....we are really looking forward to June 6! Much love to you both.

Alyssa and Colin

There's something so nostalgic about a cobblestone road, the sound of rustling leaves on the perfect, crisp autumn day....and a couple in love. Alyssa lives in the quaint, adorable Lockerbie in downtown Indy, so it was the perfect place for their e-session. We truly had a wonderful time hanging out with them....they are so adorable and sweet, and have wonderfully contagious laughs. Speaking of laughing, you should have seen Nate trying to control our one light setup, on the sixth floor of the building, with major gusts of wind!!! We somehow managed to get a shot despite mother nature :) Congrats you guys....we can't wait for the big day!

Julia and Ben

Ben's sweet grandma lives out in the country on a beautiful piece of land. We had such an amazing time capturing Julia and Ben and their love for each other. They have such a fun, playful, yet super sweet relationship. We just adore them and can't wait to capture their special day. Thank you guys for hanging out with us :)

Becca and Jon

There's something extremely nostalgic about the campus of Notre Dame....especially when you add a fun loving, beautiful couple in the mix! Nate's buddy from college invited us up for a game, and it worked out perfectly to meet Becca and Jon the night before. We really had an amazing time capturing their love for each other. I love how much they laugh and have fun together, yet how they also have such a confident tenderness to their relationship. Thank you guys for spending time with us....we are very much looking forward to your wedding.

Nikki Lou and Brian

What a fun couple....it was such a joy to capture Nikki and Brian's love for each other. The first time I met Nikki Lou, I knew she would be a blast to work with. She's super creative and has some really unique things planned for their wedding. It's obvious how much they love each other, and so....we can't wait for the big day!

Nora & Jason

From the first time we met Nora and Jason, we knew they would be the kind of couple we love to shoot. They are in love and full of laughter! As soon as we started the engagement session, their personalities came out. From then on it was easy work :) We wish you two the best engagement, a fabulous wedding and a joy filled marriage.

During the session Nora and Jason told us they had been taking salsa dancing lessons. Near the end, we were walking along the canal and came across some live music. A salsa band!! They gladly showed some of their moves to the crowd :)

Apparently Nate wasn't getting enough attention.

Beth and Dan

Sometimes a couple lives out of town, and it can be hard coordinating when to meet with them prior to booking us. This was the case for Beth and Dan, so we met Beth's mom first, and loved her to pieces. It was so sweet to hear her mom talk about her daughter and her amazing relationship with Dan. It was no surprise that these guys are truly an amazing people with a very precious bond! Beth has the most beautiful smile and it was so sweet watching Dan adore her. We are truly looking forward to their October wedding and getting to know them even better. Thank you guys for spending so much of your time with us and letting us capture your amazing love for each other.

Jonna and Dan

Chicago, IL One fabulous couple + One stellar city = One super fun engagement shoot! I know I say this a lot, but our images can only be as powerful as love between two people! It was a beautiful thing capturing jonna and dan's connection and love for each other. They live in the beautiful Lincoln park area, and gave us a fantastic tour of the city (and we took a few pics along the way). Thank you guys for a SUPER FUN time....the suspense is over....ENJOY! Did I mention how excited we are for your wedding?!?!?

Karena and Jordan

Ahhh....what a breath of fresh air these two are!!! Really truly, the next time I have a bad day, I'm calling these guys to hang out and cheer me up :) Often times, opposites attract. However, in their case, they both have such SUPER FUN and JOYFUL personalities and share such love of laughter! Thank you guys for being YOU, we can not wait for October 18!!!

Nora and Mark

Purdue University + nora and mark + fun + love = one fantabulous engagement shoot! We met Nora and Mark a couple of years ago at Kayci and Ryan's wedding. They now live in D.C and are getting married in Chicago, where Nora is from. We had such a wonderful time capturing their love and getting to know them better. We really can't wait for the big day! Dana and Michael

Too much fun....these guys are just too much fun!!! So...as most of you know we live in the bustling metropolis of Greenfield. Don't get me wrong, it's a cute little town, but there's not a lot going on here. We love our house, friends, etc...and it's not far from Indy. So, there are a lot of perks. One thing I do LOVE, are all of the little random places to shoot. I used to think that every time i did a shoot, I'd have to find some new and AMAZING place i'd never been. I tend to get bored after shooting the same place once or twice. However, I've found if I just take the time to explore what's around me and see new things, i often find more than I even knew existed. And what i've also discovered is that it's not as much about the location, as it is about the beautiful people that I'm photographing. It's about engaging with them and capturing who they are. Dana and Michael truly have a beautiful love for each other, and we were so honored to capture it. We are really looking forward to the wedding!

Arlee and Sam

Sometimes words just can't express the joy I feel when working with a couple. I've grown so fond of watching couples interact, and how each relationship is so unique. I've learned a lot about myself, and what it means to get lost in this love. I have my moments, when life seems to get the best of me. However, I've found that living life in search of love and joy is always a much better place to be. Arlee and Sam....thank you for loving each other and inviting me to capture it. Nate and I are so excited for you both.
