Nora and Jason, San Antonio TX

What a beautiful way to kick off the 2009 wedding season. Nora and Jason are such sweet, warm, gentle, loving people....and so perfect for each other. The day was truly an amazing celebration of their love for each other, and the union of two families becoming one. I love weddings with a lot of emotion...and I found myself tearing up several times during their day. Thank you guys so so much for inviting us to capture your day....we were so honored. We love you guys and wish you all the best.

Aaron & Lynda in the Bahamas....part 1 of 2

I know, I know....sorry for the delay! Hopefully the suspense will only make the images better :) The truth is....editing photos of the Bahamas while looking at a foot of snow outside my office window has been somewhat of a cruel joke. However, I can't complain. We spent an amazing 6 days on a beautiful island....capturing one very FANTASTIC, BEAUTIFUL, and oh so FUN couple. As you saw in the title, these are only part 1 of 2 from the Bahamas....more to come very soon. It was quite challenging picking the faves for the blog....so much eye candy is hard to contain. For those of us enduring winter....or are just in plain denial....i hope this post is a refreshing change of scenery for you :) Aaron and Lynda....we can't thank you and your beautiful families enough for taking us along this journey with you....to translate such a special day in your lives. Thank you for not only trusting us to capture your love for each other, but for sharing your warmth and sincerely beautiful hearts. We wish you all the best....and hope to see you again very soon :) Enough of my blabbering....on with some photos....

I love this father/son moment...

beauty is in the details...

I love how joyful Lynda looks when she sees her groom for the first time.

Allison and Nick

Connersville, IN. There's something very fresh and oh so beautiful about a winter wedding. Cold, yes....but amazing in a truly unique way. Allison started a fabulous blog while planning her wedding: www.hasel.typepad.com. I think it's so cute because she says "A reluctant winter bride plans a fabulous winter wedding." And FABULOUS it was! She has quite the eye for style and it all came through so beautifully in every aspect of the day. She and her now hubby Nick, although opposites in many ways, are seemingly the perfect compliment to each other. It was such an honor to be there to experience and capture their day. Allison, grew up going to the school connected to the church. It's a very nostalgic, old building with tons of character. So, despite the chilly air, we had tons of options with this little gem. She also requested a few shots i the library, which was so fun too! Congratulations to you both, and thank you so much for letting us capture your amazing day! Now on with some photos......

Karena and Jordan

Noblesville, IN...Wow, seriously I don't even know where to begin with these guys. From the moment we met Karena and Jordan, we just LOVED them to pieces. They are one of those couples that just has the most magnetic personalities, both individually and as a couple. They love to have fun, laugh and play....but they also have such gentle, sweet spirits. It was the perfect fall day, and we definitely took full advantage of it. They were married in a church, and then had an amazing reception back at Karena's parent's house in a tent. It's no small feat have a reception at your house....and let me just say, they pulled it off BEAUTIFULLY! We had a lot of time to do some really fun, creative portraits with the bride and groom...which is always one of my favorite parts of the day. Their wedding party was also SO FUN, and even did the jumping shot in a corn field!! As you will see even better than my words can describe....it was such a ridiculously FUN day.....congrats you guys...and much love to ya!

One of the best moments of the day, the first sight :

Karena's parent were able to enjoy the moment as well:

You two are simply gorgeous!!

Dana and MIchael

Indianapolis, IN....Fall in Indiana is one of my favorite things in the world. When you mix the PERFECT fall day with a FANTABULOUS couple, a super FUN wedding party, and a GORGEOUS wedding....it's a PERFECTFANTABULOUSFUNGORGEOUS day (sorta of like supercalifragulous but different). Wow, not really sure where all of that came from, but i think i need some more coffee :) Really, we love these guys and had such an amazing time capturing their day. Michael was teasing me all day about how he wanted to make "the wall" in our studio. So, I think there are a number of shots that could qualify, but this first one will definitely make the wall!! Congrats you two!!!

Beth and Dan

From the moment we met these guys (and even before that when we met Beth's mom), we just loved them and knew they would be amazing to work with! They have such an amazing connection with each other that was so special to capture. Not only was their love for each other so apparent, but also the love they have for their family and friends. Beth did such an amazing job planning this beautiful event, everything from the unique details to the overall vibe of the day was so perfect. Thank you guys for inviting us to share this day with you. We wish you all the best on this beautiful journey.

The perfect way to start out your wedding day....YOGILATES!

I adore Beth's smile....it can light up a room....or a campus for that matter :)

Jen and Girish

What a stunning and unique wedding, full of so much joy, laughter and a fairytale ending! Jen is one of those girls whose personality is captivating, is full of laughter and love, and is a true friend. This was so clear by the great group of girls she had in her wedding, to her family and friends, and of course Girish....her prince., who happens to be an incredibly gentle and kind hearted guys. Growing up I had a fond adoration of Disney, including one of my favorites, Alladin. Now, not in a cartoonish way at all, but in the romantic way that Jasmine falls in love with prince Aladin, their wedding reminded me of this beautiful story. It was truly a gorgeous day from all of the little details, the dancing, the atmosphere and more..... to the most important one of all, Jen and Girish's beautiful love for each other. Congratulations you two and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for inviting us to share in your day. Much love to you both!

Angela and Dan - a 'little' more

This is that moment in the grooms day that a million thoughts are colliding in the brain but the heart has only one focus

The only thing more prevalent than the rain were emotions

Angela and Dan

Detroit, IL....Meadow Brook Hall. Looking back on Angela and Dan’s wedding, the thing that most stands out to me is a beautiful and unique story. Every wedding is a story, but what I loved about their wedding is that it was full of wonderful emotion. Yes there were some sad emotions because of the rainy weather, but despite the rain and the change of plans....it was an amazing and beautiful story with a very happy ending. I think after the tough decision of whether to have the wedding outside or inside was made, the joy that followed was very apparent. It was especially apparent once she saw her groom for the first time. It is so clear how perfect Angela and Dan are for each other, and capturing their love for each other was truly an amazing thing. It was such a joy to be back with the Kruckers and the Corrollos to once again celebrate love. We wish you guys all the best!

At least Friday gave us some great sun for a quick e-session:

Paige is one the most relaxed brides we've had. It allowed us to just be in the moment and take in everything that happened that day. The locations, St Luke's and Union Station , and the details were amazing! Congratulations Page and Jonny.....we wish you all the best!!

Lisa and John

Ann Arbor, MI.....It is always a huge honor and joy to work with a wonderful family more than once ;) We photographed John's sisters wedding last year, and couldn't have been more delighted to get to capture he and Lisa's wedding. These two wonderful people both have super families and are full of so much love for each other. I just adored the way Lisa looked at John all day! Their day was absolutely amazing, and we were so thrilled to capture it for them. It was also a huge treat to work with their wedding coordinator Sharon Goia who was just as amazing as she was sweet. Congratulations you guys!!!

Ahhhhhhruba

What can we say? We were so privileged to be able to go with Jen and Dave to Aruba to capture their wedding. You could hardly call it work and not just because it is a beautiful place. They (along with the entire group) were the most relaxed and easy to work with group. Maybe it was the mango coladas :) The fun began with a sunset cruise on a 'pirate' ship. Complete with a mascot...

Much more to come soon!!

Nora and Mark

Chicago, IL It's truly amazing what a little R&R can do for the sould :) After spending a week in beautiful and peaceful Minnesota, Nate and I felt fully refreshed and eager to capture another amazing day! Nora and Mark have such a beautiful connection with each other. They also both have wonder and sweet family and friends. We were truly honored to capture their love for each other. It was the perfect August day, no humidity, blue skies, and lots of love, laughter and joy. Congrats Nora and Mark....and much love to you guys!

Their reception was at the top of the fabulous historic Allerton Hotel on the Magnificant Mile in downtown Chicago. The reception hall used to be a bar from the early 1900's called Tip Top Tap.
