The Schmidt Family

This adorable family added a new little one to the crew....meet little Molly, she's a doll! I always look forward to capturing them...and I can't believe how much Makenna changes each time i see her. She's definitely not lacking any personality, which I just love. Now she has a new little sister to play with, who happens to look a lot like her...at least I think :) Thank you guys for another wonderful shoot....this photo of Makenna pointing at the sky makes me laugh every time i see it! Enjoy...it was so great seeing you guys!

The Adams family

WARNING: This is one EXTREMELY FUN famly....and I had a really hard time narrowing down the photos for the blog :) So...I called Dana the day of the shoot and said, "you don't happen to have a red couch we could use for the shoot?" I've been dying to photograph a family on a red couch in a field for over a year now. Well, she didn't have a red couch, but she had just bought an old couch that she was planning on upholstering red :) THAT WILL WORK i said...and boy did they work the couch out :) It's so much fun photographing a family that LOVES having fun and also enjoys getting their pics taken. Speaking of, little Harley was such a ham for the camera and I couldn't get enough of it! THANK YOU GUYS for a FANTASTIC time....we'll definitely have to do this again soon!

The Hacker family

So I might be a little biased since they're family....but are these not two of the most adorable kids you've ever seen or what ?!?!? Just to tell you a little secret (well, maybe not so secret now) I have a little obsession with chunky babies....they are the cutest things on earth! As always, Carter is such a ham, I just love capturing his personality :) It was fun to see how he interacted with his little sister. Well....here they are....we love you guys!

The Tabb fam

We LOVE theses guys! I have had the pleasure of photographing the Tabb girls (and Sarah's senior pics) in the past, but never the whole fam! What a treat, these guys are full of so much joy and zest for life. We really are blessed to know them, not to mention capture their love and special bond as a family :)

The Kennedy siblings

What a fun family! These guys are super sweet for surprising their mom with photos for her birthday! They are all in college, so it took a fair about of orchestrating...but thankfully it worked out and the weather cooperated. I had so much fun
capturing them and their love for each other. Siblings are such a special gift and it's obvious that these guys don't take that for granted. Happy birthday mamma Kennedy!!

Does this one not look like the start of "Hear no, Speak no, See no...." Well, one of the said something funny and they just happened to have this natural reaction. We didn't even notice it till the images were processed :)

The Dilts

Seriously...do you guys really have to move??? The longer I live the more I'm convinced that life really is an interesting journey full of so many different seasons. Nate and I have been so blessed to get to know these guys over the last few years, as well as watch Caroline grow into a bubbly little almost 2 yr. old. Having such wonderful neighbors and friends right next door has been a true gift. We are so sad they will be leaving us this summer, but until then, we'll keep enjoying having them around. It's so easy to get caught up in "tomorrow" and miss the true joy of "today." The next task, the next big goal, the next move, the next life change...etc. Don't get me wrong, having goals is great, however if we're always looking to what's next, we might just miss out on the little nuggets life gives us today :)

On a side note, there's a great house for sale next to the turtles if anyone is in the market for a home. We'll be taking applications-haha!

Ben, Nancy and Baby Chim Chim

It was such a pleasure to work with these guys. Ben is a fellow photographer friend (hermannimages.com). It's always an honor when another photographer asks you to capture their family! His wife Nancy is such a beautiful, glowing mother to be. Their excitement about this season of life is very evident, and I'm sure they will be amazing parents :) Ben likes to refer to the baby as chim chim, which I think is pretty hilarious! Thank you guys so much, and I can't wait to meet baby chim!

The Zimmerman family

What a fantastic family!! I'm pretty sure they define FUN! I had such a wonderful time capturing their joy for life and love for each other. We did everything from play on the swing set, get treats from the ice cream woman, roll and run down a hill, climb over a fence (only to get busted by the owner of the land), and a little bed jumping to top it all off! It's days like this I wish I were 6 years old again. Thank you Zimmerman family, I had such a blast capturing your family.

The Elliot's

Oh my goodness....is this the cutest family ever or what?!?!?!? Thank you guys so much for letting me capture your family. I really enjoyed hanging out with you and freezing some moments of your precious love for each other, even the licks between brother and sister :) I look forward to seeing you guys again sometime.

This is one of my all time favorite family photos!!!

This almost makes me cry every time I look at it.

The Harris family

It's the highest compliment when a client tells their friends and family about us. Our wonderful clients the Carlocks are friends and neighbors with the Harris family. I knew this would be a great session, and it far succeeded my expectations. Some fall days are colder than others, and this was one of those not so warm fall days. However, these guys were troopers and we were even blessed with the most beautiful sunset! The kids had me giggling left and right....and my oh my were they ever a photogenic family! Thank you guys for such a wonderful shoot, I look forward to working with you again sometime :)

Stacy and Nate have been friends for over 10 years. She and Juan now live in Mexico City with their two adorable boys, Ian and Diego. They don't make it back home a lot so we took advantage of the nice weather lately to grab some family shots. We hope you guys have a Feliz Navidad and we'll see you soon.

The Pope family

Sophie is just a bundle of energy and joy! She definitely had me on my toes to keep up with her, which I just love of course! We went on quite the little photo adventure that started with a pumpkin patch and ended at Trader's Point Creamery-yum! Sophie just LOVES animals and I had so much capturing her interact with them. The free range chickens were perhaps the most funny of all! They are such a wonderful family of three and soon to be four :) Thank you so much for letting be capture your beautiful family, I can't wait to work with you again! Enjoy your photos :)

The Barlow family

We met these wonderful folks at Liz and Jeff's wedding while taking some photo booth shots! They are so so sweet and so fun to talk with, not to mention they both have wonderful accents to boot! Saideh is from Australia and Paul is from Ireland, and little Connor is just the cutest little version of them! There was quite a chill in the air that morning, but little Connor was a trooper and gave us many adorable giggles despite the cold. They are one of those families that you would just love to be a part of because of how much love and joy they have. Thank you guys so much for letting us capture your beautiful family, we are so glad we met you!
