The Mabis Family



It's moments like these that remind me of just how precious life is. Chris is getting deployed to Iraq soon, so they wanted to get some family photos done before he left. This was one of those shoots that really had me thinking about how many things I take for granted. Since the war has been going on for several years now, it's easy just to go about life and not think about it much....until you meet family like this. A father, a mother, and beautiful daughter. Just real people, serving our country and risking their lives for it. Chris and Kristi have both been in the military for several years, in fact, that's even where they met. It was so special for me to capture their love for each other and for their precious daughter Kaitlyn. We have so much to be thankful for in this amazing country that we live in. It's people like Chris and Kristi who's service and dedication allow us to continue to live the way that we do. Thank you guys so much for all that you do to serve our country, I salute you! Our prayers will be with you on your journey. I look forward to capturing many more beautiful moments of your family together.
