Nora and Mark

Purdue University + nora and mark + fun + love = one fantabulous engagement shoot! We met Nora and Mark a couple of years ago at Kayci and Ryan's wedding. They now live in D.C and are getting married in Chicago, where Nora is from. We had such a wonderful time capturing their love and getting to know them better. We really can't wait for the big day! Thank you guys for showing us new parts of Purdue and for the wonderful company :)

Dana and Michael

Too much fun....these guys are just too much fun!!! So...as most of you know we live in the bustling metropolis of Greenfield. Don't get me wrong, it's a cute little town, but there's not a lot going on here. We love our house, friends, etc...and it's not far from Indy. So, there are a lot of perks. One thing I do LOVE, are all of the little random places to shoot. I used to think that every time i did a shoot, I'd have to find some new and AMAZING place i'd never been. I tend to get bored after shooting the same place once or twice. However, I've found if I just take the time to explore what's around me and see new things, i often find more than I even knew existed. And what i've also discovered is that it's not as much about the location, as it is about the beautiful people that I'm photographing. It's about engaging with them and capturing who they are. Dana and Michael truly have a beautiful love for each other, and we were so honored to capture it. We are really looking forward to the wedding!

Arlee and Sam

Sometimes words just can't express the joy I feel when working with a couple. I've grown so fond of watching couples interact, and how each relationship is so unique. I've learned a lot about myself, and what it means to get lost in this love. I have my moments, when life seems to get the best of me. However, I've found that living life in search of love and joy is always a much better place to be. Arlee and Sam....thank you for loving each other and inviting me to capture it. Nate and I are so excited for you both.

Brienn and JJ

These guys are as sweet as they come :) Brienn is one of my best friend's little sisters and I have been so blessed to get to know their family over the years. They are getting married in Grand Rapids in about a week and a half. We are so excited to capture their love for each other! Brienn and JJ just graduated from AU as well, so this month is full of exciting milestones for them. THank you guys for a wonderful shoot and we can't wait to see you again soon!

Robyn and Kyle

Working with people in love is definitely one of the biggest perks of my job. It reminds me that life is about so much more than the mundane, day to day tasks. It's about the living in the moment, being vulnerable and appreciating small things in life. Thank you Kyle and Robyn for reminding me of these things and for allowing us to capture your love for each other. Kyle told me after the shoot that he really wasn't too excited about the photos but that it was important to him because it's important to Robyn. It's very obvious it is in these photos just how much he loves her!

Katie and Adam (aka Crash)

I knew from talking to Katie on the phone that she was going to be so much fun....and she totally was! It was great to finally meet her and her fiance Adam aka Crash for the first time, as they live in Chicago. They are such a fun-loving, spontaneous, full of joy couple! It was a wee bit FREEZING cold and windy for their shoot, but we made the most of it and they were quite the troopers! We really enjoyed getting to know them and hearing their stellar stories about how they met ($20) and so much more! Thank you guys, it was so wonderful to meet you, and we can't wait for the wedding!!

Lisa and John

We met this wonderful couple at Jen and Clint's wedding (John is actually Jen's sister)! We are so thrilled that we get to photograph their wedding as well. They live up in South Bend, but made the haul down to Indy for their engagement photos. It was a wee bit chilly, but they were troopers and we enjoyed every minute of it! Lisa has the best smile as you will see! They are so adorable together and we really enjoyed getting to know them a little better. Enjoy your photos Lisa and John, we can't wait to capture you're big day!!

Jen and Dave

These are two of the most genuine people I've ever met. I've been thinking about this a lot lately. In our culture, we really try so hard to keep up with those around us, to fit in, to be accepted. Unfortunately, who we really are gets lost in this never ending search. I'm guilty of this, and when I find myself doing this I hate it. So, I could probably go on and on with this little soap box, but I think I'll save that for another post :) When I meet a couple like Jen and Dave, it's so refreshing to meet two people who are truly themselves. They are simply so real and so very genuine. I really enjoyed capturing who they are both as individuals and as a couple. Thank you guys so much for letting us capture your love for each other. We'll see you guys in Aruba!

Kastonia and Adam

The moment we met these guys, we just knew they would be fantastic to work with! They are so fun and laid back...we especially can't wait until their wedding now! We had a blast traveling up to Purdue for their engagement shoot. Thankfully, the weather was more than cooperative for November, and we were even lucky enough to have beautiful leaves on the trees as well. Thank you guys for everything, we are so thrilled to be working with you!! Enjoy the photos.

Megan and Zack

We are really looking forward to capturing Megan and Zack's big day! When we first met Megan, we both knew that she was about as sweet as they come...and it was great to meet Zack at the e-shoot! They are so perfect for each other and both have such sweet spirits! We loved getting to know them a little more. Thank you guys for everything...can't wait for December!

I can't say enough great things about these guys! We were so blessed to meet them at Sarah and Matt's wedding a few months ago, and absolutely thrilled when we found out they wanted us to shoot their wedding as well. They are so sweet, gentle, and oh so cute together. Thank you guys for being such wonderful models, you guys are truly naturals. You made our jobs quite easy! Diane and Mike

These guys are absolutely precious!! We are so very excited to shoot their wedding this saturday in Indianapolis. We had so much fun with them and their love for each other is quite contagious. Nikki and Noah

What an absolutely sweet and adorable couple! We had so much fun photographing their engagement photos at the beautiful Purdue campus. They are actually high school sweethearts and also went to the same college, I think that's so adorable! Nikki and Noah are waiting for the reception venue to give them their exact wedding date, so we are all holding are breath hoping that we get to work together. I have a great feeling about it and we are definitely looking forward to it!!!! Thank you guys for being so awesome to work with....for climbing trees and bleachers and all of the other crazy things we asked you to do! You guys ROCKED, seriously! We can't wait to capture the big day :)

jamie and jeremy

I had such a blast with these two. They are absolutely adorable and so very sweet. They seem so perfect for each other :) Jamie and Jeremy are getting married in Jamaica this November! Unfortunately they have to use the resorts photographer, so we don't get to go with them. However, I keep trying to convince them to take us (wink, wink,, we still have that your date open ;) I was very honored to photograph their engagement photos. Congratulations..... and have so much fun in Jamaica!!
