The cutting of the Christmas tree



So this year, our Christmas tree cutting experience was not nearly as exciting as last year. Last year we covered the entire tree farm at least three times looking for the perfect tree. Mind you, it was about 30 degrees colder than this year and there was snow on the ground. About an hour after looking for the perfect tree, frost-bitten and tired, we finally found our tree. It's a wonder that we decided to go back this year and try again, but we did. Here's what it looked like this year: we got to the tree farm, walked about 30 seconds and said, "This one looks like the winner." Nate cut the tree down and we left. But without the tree the first time. We realized we didn't have cash, so we made a run to a debit machine and come back. We love the smell of a fresh tree so it's all good.
