We arrive!



We made it in just fine and our little town on Lake Como called Varenna is just perfect. Lake Como is a mountain lake in the foothills of the Alps. It was foggy and overcast most of the time but the view was still great. Our hotel was right on the water. We fell asleep each night to the sound of the waves lappping just under our balcony.

The villages on the lake rose rapidly from the water. There was a lot of stair climbing here.
