Just thinking

For some reason, I've been rather reflective lately. Nate and I were reflecting back to the first wedding we shot over two years ago. I remember my nerves, and being so scared that my film wouldn't be exposed right and that I would mess up our dear friend's photos. Thankfully, it turned out fine (i only overexposed one role) and the bride and groom were thrilled in the end. So, that was the beginning of two and half amazing years of capturing precious memories for our clients. I wish that I could go back and photograph their wedding today, as I know that the results would be much better. However, I'm thankful for them and that they trusted us enough with their wedding photos and for us to realize our true passion.

With each wedding (and portrait shoot) comes a new experience and opportunity for growth. Even though we have come a long way in the last couple of years, our desire to grow and learn only intensifies. We thank God for all of the wonderful opportunities we've had, and all of the amazing clients we've worked with so far. We understand what a special role we play and are so grateful to our clients for giving us these opportunities. As photographers, we know that our objective is to make great photos, however we see our role as much more than that. We are here to serve our clients, build relationships with them, and THEN make great photos. Without the first two things, we can't do the third.

We are so excited to see what the future holds and look forward to many more amazing clients and special opportunities. Thank you to all of our wonderful clients, friends and family for your trust, your friendship, and your support. We love you!!!!
