Marriage



We just ended a double wedding weekend and we are quite pooped! We had such a great time that the aches are more than worth it. We will be posting those up soon. As we wind down another wedding season (and wind up for family portrait season :) ) we wanted to thank all of our bride and grooms. You make our job so rewarding and we hope you treasure your wedding memories. And for a few of you, the rings may already need a little cleaning. As you adjust to married life, keep in mind this is a long-term commitment. Don't let the everyday ups and downs take your eyes off that. We have found in our own marriage that we both came into it with some rough edges. But with our focus being on how to serve and love each other better each day, we act as sandpaper for each other. The rough edges aren't so sharp anymore. We still have a lot of room to grow, but with some perseverance our relationship is getting better. So today as you pay another one of her bills or pick up his clothes for the billionth time ;) think less of yourself and more about loving your spouse.
