Nikki & Noah

Wow, do we have it good or what? :) We still pinch ourselves somedays just to make sure this is real. Nikki and Noah's wedding was one of those days. Their easy going approach was felt the entire day. Even the weather chilled out just in time (well until the end of the day... see last pic). Thank you both for allowing us into your wonderful day. Here's just a taste of what the experience was like.......

The Ceremony was as the gorgeous St. Joseph Catholic Church in Shelbyville.

We don't usually put a lot of formal portraits up but we wanted to show you a good image of the monstrosity that was Nikki's bouquet!! Seriously, it was the biggest (and most beautiful) thing we'd ever seen. The first person who guesses (wedding guests with inside knowledge excluded ;) how many roses are in this bouquet gets a $10 Starbucks card. Contest is over once we make the next blog post.

Katie and Adam

If one word sums up this couple and their amazing day...it has to be FUN!! They are so full of joy and laughter, love to have fun, and have super FUN family and friends! Katie also has the most amazing smile I've ever seen...and she's always laughing and smiling....how great is that! They love racing....just wait to see their exit below...HILARIOUS! We also stopped at the Indianapolis 500 track and did some photos there. We attempted to sneak them into the grandstands...but we got busted...bummer. We truly enjoyed each and every moment of their day. Congratulations Katie and Adam....you guys are AMAZING!!

And guys, no, I wasn't taking pictures of the sky :p

Whitney and Drew

Drew and Whitney were married in Florida, but had one rockin' reception here in Indy at the Music Mill! Drew and I actually graduated from high school together, back in the day. My maiden name was Legge, so he loved to call me Arm-and-a-leg (get it, amanda legge). Ahh the memories of high school art class :) Things haven't changed much...well maybe a little....now Drew has a beautiful new bride named Whitney. They also met in high school :) She is one of the most joyful, fun-loving people I have ever met...so the two of them together equals LOTS AND LOTS OF FUN! They are so perfect for each other and it was so fun to capture their complete JOY and love for each other. It was so great seeing you both again, looking forward to hanging out sometime soon :) CONGRATULATIONS!!

Deanna and Nathan

Wowzers....what an amazing trip back to Detroit!! You guys probably remember that about two years ago we photographed Jess and Clisby's wedding in Detroit (who we love to pieces). Well....we have been sooo blessed to get to know these amazing families even more. We were very honored to photograph Deanna and Nathan's wedding (D is Jess's cousin). We always feel like family when we go to Detroit and ADORE these precious families. They are so full of love, joy and warmth. Everything about the day was just perfect! Deanna and Nate are such an amazing couple and it's obvious how very perfect they are for each other. It was also obvious how special they are to their friends and family. Thank you guys for everything...we are so blessed to know you....may God continue to bless your lives together!

Ok, y'all are going to get two posts in one. So sit back and enjoy. Since we shot the e-session right before the rehearsal, we'll start with that........

Brienn & JJ

Grand Rapids, MI.

PRECIOUS! This word keeps resounding in my heart when i think about these two. Their love for each, their sweet spirits, the entire wedding day, their wonderful families....just precious! The day started off quite rainy, but thankfully cleared up in time for pics and didn't rain the rest of the day! Thank you guys so much for letting us capture your day and all of your preciousness (if that's a word)! Many blessings to you and your new life together.

Paula and Rocky

Chicago, IL ....This was one uber-rific funtastic wedding! Yes, I'm pretty sure I just made up both of those words :) We had such a fabulous time with these guys. They definitely knew how to throw a great party too! Paula and Rocky have known each other since high-school, but didn't start dating until later on. However, the really cool thing is that most all of their wedding party was friends from high school. How crazy is that?!?! They also had quite the MC at their reception who kept the crowd rockin and the party going full swing all night long! Thank you guys so much for letting us capture your love, laughter and the first day of the rest of your lives together. We're so blessed to know you!

And a big thanks to Jess and Clis for introducing us to Paula and Rocky. We love you too :)

Julie and Derek

WOW, where in the world to begin. We met this amazing couple at Sarah and Matt's wedding last year. Matt was also the best man in the wedding (an absolutely amazing one at that)! There love for each other is so amazing and reminds me of how wonderful it is to be in love. We thought that it might rain all day by the looks of things in the morning, but it turned out to be just beautiful! Most importantly Julie and Derek were glowing with JOY all day long. Julie's sister also kept me cracking up ALL day!! Nate and I felt so blessed to be a part of such an amazing day with so many wonderful people. Congratulations Julie and Derek, we are so thankful to know you!

Kastonia and Adam

We were very thrilled to kick off wedding season with such a wonderful couple! I give them huge props for being brave enough to plan an outdoor wedding in March. It was a little bit chilly, but an absolutely gorgeous day. Their love for each other is so sweet and tender. We were honored to capture such a wonderful celebration. Becky and AJ

What an amazing, sweet, intimate, lovely wedding this was! Becky and AJ had the greatest little New Years Eve wedding. They were married at Becky's parent's home, and it was just the perfect evening. It's so obvious how much these two love each other...I honestly about lost it during the ceremony when AJ started crying. It was such a tender, unique ceremony. It seemed to fit them just perfectly. Both of their families and friends were such a joy to be around, and so very welcoming to Nate and I. We were so honored to capture their special day and their love for each other. We wish you all the best and hope to hang out with you again sometime!

Megan and Zach- a wonderful wedding to end a wonderful season

These two are absolutely one of the sweetest couples EVER, and I really mean that! Their day was filled with so much love, joy and tenderness. I''ve never seen to people light up so much during their "first sight." One thing I really love about weddings is watching all of the people the bride and groom love, gather together for their very special event. It was very obvious how much these two are loved by all of their family and friends. Congratulations Megan and Zach, you guys are the best!!

Jen and Sean

Wow, what an amazing day. Jen and her mom have been nothing but organized from day one, and my oh my did it ever pay off. Everything went so smoothly and was absolutely perfect. Jen and Sean were just wonderful to work with, and so contagiously in love. Jen is one of those girls that just lights up whatever room she walks into. Sean has such a peaceful, calm and controlled spirit. They really fit together just perfectly. Not to mention, the wedding party was SOOOO much fun, the girls had me cracking up all day, I just loved them all. Congratulations Jen and Sean, many blessings to you. We were so honored to be a part of your day.

This was a first for me...a wednesday morning at 9 am wedding. It was such a pleasure capturing this quaint, intimate wedding. Their love for each other lit up their house, and even their pooches (who had a front row seat) were full of joy. Holly and Matt

Wow, what can we say? We've been looking forward to this one for some time. We first met Holly and Matt last year at Nina and Dan's wedding. We knew right then and there these two would be a blast to shoot. Holly is the reason we have a new rule for the girls when we do the group jumping shot. She didn't get the name 'Holly Underpants' for nothing ;) The day started of cold and glum but the sky opened up at just the right time for some fun shots around South Bend. This one of the most easy going groups we have had all year. The reception was a blast and was still going strong by the time we puttered out. The fall theme went great at the Knollwood Country Club. We wish you two the best and can't wait to work with you again! As soon as the kiddos arrive :p

Raven and Kevin

Ahhhh....I just love this time of year. It doesn't get much better than a beautiful fall wedding! Raven and Kevin were fantabulous to work with....and definitely knew how to throw a party!!
